2002 Eric Monrad guitar

Here we have a lovely Eric Monrad cedar top classical guitar made in 2002. This instrument is braced and voiced very similarly to the guitars of Miguel Rodriguez Sr.. The back and sides are indian rosewood bound with flamed koa. The tuners are Sloan with a Moresque pattern and ebony buttons. The scale of this guitar is 65cm and it has a width at the nut of 52mm. Both the nut and saddle are compensated for excellent intonation. The action at the 12th fret for the low e is 4mm and is 2.5mm on the high e, but the saddle is plenty high should you wish to lower the action. There are some fingernail marks in the french polish of the top and a string burn behind the high e, otherwise the guitar is in excellent condition. Monrad is one of the top and most well respected luthiers in the USA today. His new instruments go for around 14k. Here is an opportunity to own one of his guitars at a fraction of the cost of a new one.
